Graduated Lincoln High School 1969. After attending Sierra College for 2 years he decided to join the US Army in 1971. Basic at Fort Ord in Monterey California followed with Advanced training as a Scout in Fort Knox Kentucky, he began his enlisted career with assignment to Germany. Continued enlisted assignments had him at Fort Hood Texas and back to Germany. Bob attended the Warrant Officer training program in 1981 and became a Scout Helicopter Pilot. Bob retired from the US Army January 1992 as a Chief Warrant Officer 3.
